Online Driver CPC is virtual training that enables candidates to complete their CPC training. The online CPC courses that we offer here at 2 Start Training are interactive and enjoyable and allow you to complete your periodic driver training from the comfort of your own home!
CPC stands for Certificate of Professional Competence and is a set standard created by the European Union to help ensure all professional drivers are competent and stick to ongoing training.
Those drivers that want to drive a vehicle professionally or as part of a hire and reward process will be required to complete 35-hours of periodic CPC training every 5 years in order to remain compliant. If you do not complete the required CPC training, there is a fine of up to £1,000 available.
Here at 2 Start Training, we provide both classroom and online CPC training, with online courses becoming increasingly popular amongst many of our students!
What courses do we offer?
We have two different Online CPC courses available to book online, with both 1-day and 5-day training courses on offer. The 1-day course will give you 7 of your required 35 hours of periodic training, and the 5-day course giving you the full 35 hours.
We have a variety of modules for you to complete, which include:
- Driver Essentials
- Driving Principles
- Emergency First Aid & Health and Safety
- Smart Motorways
- Vehicle Defects & Driver Licencing
All of the above-mentioned modules will be completed if you choose to complete our 5-day online CPC course.
How to complete your training?
In order to complete your driver CPC training online, the only things that you need are a computer with a camera & microphone and an internet connection. Once students are enrolled onto our courses, they will be given guidelines on how to set up, install and use zoom, and how to start their online training.
Why do you need Online CPC training?
CPC is needed to ensure that drivers are competent and safe.
Those drivers who are new to professional driving and passed their car driving tests after 1st January 1997 will need to complete their Mod 2 & Mod 4 CPC tests before going onto the online CPC.
