Our mission

Take a deep dive into all things 2 Start, and find out why we are the premier driver & logistics training provider in the South!

At 2 Start, our primary mission is to provide the highest quality and top standard of training available on the market to date.

We strive to ensure that all of our students walking through our doors have the most comfortable, enjoyable and thorough learning experience possible. From the friendly, highly experienced instructors we hire, to our top-quality fleet of Logistic vehicles.

We looked across the industry and noticed the reoccurring struggles that some students face. From old equipment, to poor standards when it comes to the facilities. This is why we have secured a continuous investment in all our facilities and courses, giving students the best experience.

Since our doors opened in 2008, we have consistently invested in the following:

  • Maintaining all vehicles to enhance the training experience for our students.
  • Opening more depots across the south so more locations are accessible for all students.
  • Growing our team so that we have more availability.
  • Improving our courses so that they are in line with authoritative curriculums.

At 2 Start, we show authoritativeness in the logistics training industry by working towards getting all LGV instructors on the National Register LGV Instructors (NRI). This will reinforce the importance of having a governing body be the national standard for all courses provided for the logistics sector. 2 Start are regularly audited by a number of accrediting bodies to ensure your courses meet the required standards that are nationally recognised by the respective industry.

These include the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), who endorse our depots to be 3a approved, and dedicated driving test centres for the DVSA examiners, whom conduct the 3b practical tests. Or, the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), who accredit all our Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS) courses.

Accrediting bodies define the nationally recognised standards that providers, such as 2 Start, need to meet, and are regularly audited to ensure that the standards are being met, and are in line with their curriculum.

We relay the importance of high-quality training through an enjoyable and welcoming learning environment, with well-maintained equipment.

2 Start believe that your learning requirements are vital. That is why we strive to conduct thorough education for all students who walk through the door and give them reassurance. We provide accredited training, which is conducted in line with the appropriate regulations outlined by these bodies, as well as resources to help you with your learning needs. 2 Start are the training brand you can TRUST.

We ensure that all of our training courses are approved by the appropriate accrediting bodies. This includes being regularly audited by the organisation, who checks that all courses are being taught to their high standards, and meets the necessary criteria requirements. We also consistently maintain our fleet of vehicles, keeping them in good working order, clean and ready to go, as well as increased comfort for students.

How can you be sure that your course is accredited?

  • Check if the provider is approved on accreditation’s website.
  • Check registration number for certain training.
  • Check an accreditation register to ensure an instructor is approved to conduct specific training courses.

Some accrediting bodies, such as the NRI, are not a compulsory requirement. However, it fortifies the training being conducted, as you know that this specific instructor has completed the appropriate training to be on an accredited register.
