Appeals and Complaints Policy

The Complaints Policy enables apprentices, learners, employers and employees who have concerns and/or complaints to have them addressed. It also provides a mechanism by which learners and apprentices can challenge assessment decisions.

Continuous Professional Development Policy

The aim of the policy is to create an environment where all staff are continuously motivated and developed to develop personally and professionally. This will drive quality standards, raise morale and drive quality improvements.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy

This policy covers any and all aspects of our company operations, how we treat those who work for and with us and how we recruit or engage others to join that community.

Safeguarding and Prevent Policy

This policy details how 2 Start will fulfil its obligations to the UK Government Prevent Duty and CONTEST Strategy as detailed in the Counterterrorism and Security Act 2015 and the Prevent Duty Guidance for Further Education Providers.

2 Start Quality Commitment

The Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team is dedicated to the success of apprentices and employers, on our programmes. This includes a commitment to support apprentices to build skills, knowledge and behaviors that will enable them to thrive within productive, effective and fulfilling roles with their employer.

Business Continuity Plan

2 Start takes the continuity of the delivery of quality provision and continuation of business extremely seriously and is committed to dedicating an appropriate level of management, resources and planning for any instances and occurrences that may beyond our control.

Health and Safety Policy

This policy applies to all stakeholders including employees, learners, apprentices, employers and visitors to a 2 Start site. For the avoidance of doubt, “employees” shall refer to all direct employers, contractors and volunteers.

This policy should be read in conjunction with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Radicalisation Policy.

Safeguarding Statement

Safeguarding is a term that covers many things – all concerned with making sure our learners and staff are safe, healthy, protected from harm and can enjoy positive wellbeing.  At 2 Start Ltd we are committed to keeping our apprentices, learners and staff safe.

Report a Concern

Our confidential concerns process allows any apprentice to raise a concern they may have with our Safeguarding and support team. Our team will be here to help with any worries, concerns or issues enduring your training programme. We are here to provide support, help and guidance to employers, members of the family, or the individual themselves who is concerned or worried about any part of their apprenticeship training with 2 Start Ltd.
