There is no doubt that the Transport Manager courses and tests are challenging. The extensive learning and knowledge that is needed during the course is imperative to ensure those who take the exams have the correct in-depth knowledge and training to be able to become a nominated Transport Manager.
2 Start utilise the Transport Manager Syllabus and Exams from the Chartered institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). The exams conducted after the course are thorough and challenges students on the understandings of managing business operations; drivers; compliance and operations.
Each student is expected to have full comprehension of the principles and responsibilities they will have bestowed upon them once they pass the exams.
The exams which are conducted consist of 2 hours for the multiple-choice and 2 ¼ hours for the case study. Students must get a 70% pass mark for the multiple-choice, and 50% is needed for the case study exam.
2 Start Ltd once again has gone above and beyond for their students! Conducting the Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage exams for 10 students in June of 2024, in which of all the 20 examinations taken, 19 exams were passed, meaning 9 students passed the course.
This made the pass rate in this group 95%!
Under the guidance and support of the instructors who were teaching the course at 2 Start, Nicky McMillan & Alan Durnin, this class has not only met, but exceeded expectations in their Transport Manager CPC exams.
Both Nicky & Alan’s commitment, along with the hard work displayed by the students have helped them to obtain their pass mark, finally allowing them to become Transport Managers.

Now, the students can go ahead and ensure that their fleet they will be managing is staying in accordance to the regulations outlined for logistic road transport.
