Wow! Look what has arrived and is now ready for training.
Over the last three years 2 Start training has gone through a process of upgrading their entire fleet of LGV vehicles to new LF and CF DAFs. Having already renewed the rigid fleet with eight LF rigid vehicles and four CF Tractor units, the surplus work required an additional CF tractor unit to join the fleet. Supporting previous DAF colours (Orange and Jamaican Blue) with our tractor units, we decided to let our customers choose the next colour of the new addition.
2 Start have set up a fund raising page https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/2startltd So anyone wishing to donate and help raise money to fight the battle with cancer can do so. Furthermore to show our dedication to the charity we will donate £5 every time someone passes their test in the Pink Truck.
So far the feedback we have had from our students has been outstanding and even the men don’t mind driving a pink truck for a good cause!
2 Start training is coming up to its 10th anniversary, from its humble beginnings of having 2 trucks and two instructors; 2 Start has grown to a fleet of 30 vehicles, 32 full time staff and four training depots in Portsmouth, Southampton and two in Reading. We even have our very own DVSA approved testing facility. 2 Start specialise in Logistics training, from car and trailer right through to LGV training, as well as forklift and ADR Driver and Management CPC training to name a few.
