2 Start to get approved on RoATP!

2 Start Approved on RoATP

2 Start training is currently going through the process of getting approved on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP).

What is RoATP?

The register is a list of organisations that are approved to receive funding to train apprentices. An apprenticeship is a job that has both on the job training and a form of study to accompany this.

There are two different types of apprenticeships:

  • Apprenticeship Standards

  • Apprenticeship Framework

Apprenticeship standards will replace apprenticeship frameworks and all starts from 1st August 2020 will be apprenticeship standards.

How is this done?

2 Start are part of the National Logistics Academy, who offer an assembled nationwide network of very experienced specialist logistics training providers, to deliver a uniform product from 45 locations throughout the UK.

All working under a single brand.

All customer contact will be through the Academy Centre in Manchester, where staff will be able to monitor and report on all learners’ progress, utilising a centralised system.

The system is very similar to that of pallet networks, except our product is people development instead of the movement of freight.

What next when approved?

By completing the process of joining the RoATP, 2 Start Training will be able to assist apprentices within the logistics industry in the training that they need. We hope to be added to the RoATP by the end of this year.

How could this help you?

From April 2017 all businesses with a payroll over £3m a year have to pay the Apprenticeship Levy. We can help you devise a programme to ensure you make the best use of your levy pot to up-skill existing staff and recruit and train new talent.
