Off-site Training

Here at 2 Start Training, we are giving our students the opportunity to complete their IPAF operator training on their own sites, using their own equipment. This will benefit workers by allowing them to practice and train on the same exact equipment that they will be using day in, day out.

Completing training at our customer’s sites allows us to cover a wider area and help more students complete their IPAF training and gain their certification.

What is IPAF training?

IPAF stands for International Powered Access Federation who are the organisation responsible for maintaining high standards of powered access lift usage around the world.

Requirements to complete IPAF training on your site

Before any IPAF training can be completed on your site using your equipment, there are some requirements that you must meet. These requirements are in place to ensure that you have an appropriate and safe training environment for IPAF training to be carried out.

Some of the requirements that you need to meet include:

  • A training room that is suitable for the number of delegates completing the course.
  • Sufficient amount of practical training room so assessments and testing can be carried out.
  • Delegates will be required to wear PPE as per the company’s internal risk assessment.

Not only are we able to complete off-site IPAF training in Portsmouth, Southampton, Reading & Worthing, we also cover a large proportion of the South. The areas we cover are shown in the image on the right.

Your IPAF training cost will depend upon which of our IPAF training courses you choose to complete, as the cost will vary depending on the type of course you require and the desired machinery you want to use.

Our IPAF courses vary between £126 and £450.

All of our off-site IPAF training courses are taught by industry professionals who are extremely experienced and qualified. If you complete one of our IPAF courses, our instructors will be dedicated to ensuring that you have the skills and knowledge needed to safely operate your desired MEWP and to gain your IPAF qualification.
