2 Start Training Portsmouth

Our Portsmouth depot has been active since 2013 and is the central hub for all training as well as housing our head office support staff. This depot has grown from strength to strength and has become the number one driver training centre not just in Portsmouth, but the whole of the South.

Here at 2 Start Training, we pride ourselves on the high level of driver training and customer service that we provide. The jewel to our crown is the team with have at our Portsmouth depot from the office staff and sales department to all of our training instructors.

This depot allows us to offer horsebox training to students in Portsmouth and its surrounding areas which includes Hilsea, Fareham, Havant, Waterlooville, Portchester and Chichester.

Gaining your licence

Those candidates who opt to complete one of our horsebox training courses will need to complete the required stages in order to be successful. Below is an outline of the process:

  • Complete your driver medical
  • Apply for your provisional licence
  • Pass your Multiple-Choice and Hazard Perception theory tests
  • Complete your 4 days of horsebox training
  • Pass your DVSA test

Our Portsmouth depot is home to our extremely impressive driver training facilities which includes fully equipped, air-conditioned classroom facilities, spacious warehouse facilities and dedicated on-site reversing facilities, giving our students an advantage as they can practice their reversing manoeuvres undistracted.

We have continuously invested in our Portsmouth centre to ensure it meets the highest standards available which include having air-conditioned and automatic training vehicles. Our Portsmouth depot is also an approved DVSA testing site.
