2 Start Training Worthing

Our Worthing depot is the newest of all of our HGV training centres, opening in the summer of 2019, it has been providing top-quality HGV training since! This depot has grown massively over the past few years and has gained an amazing reputation for delivering first-time passes and ensuring our students receive the best treatment possible.

Our Worthing depot allows us to have good coverage of the surrounding areas which includes Brighton, Littlehampton, Hove, Shoreham and Arundel.

Here at 2 Start Worthing, we pride ourselves on the high level of service and training that we provide to all of our students, and our main objective is to ensure we give our students the best chance at passing their driving test possible. We have brand-new facilities including, classroom, a warehouse and an on-site reversing area.

Gaining your HGV Licence

In order to gain your HGV licence, there are a number of levels to the process. Initially, you will need to:

  • Complete your driver medical
  • Apply for provisional entitlement for your desired category
  • Pass both your Hazard Perception & Multiple-Choice theory tests
  • Complete your chosen HGV training course
  • Pass your HGV driving test

Our Worthing HGV Training Facilities

Our Worthing training depot, as mentioned, has an on-site HGV reversing areas which allows you to practice the reversing manoeuvre before your test. This gives you an advantage compared to others as it is uncommon for companies to have the space for their own on-site reversing facilities.

Additionally, we have an impressive fleet of vehicles consisting of fully automatic and air-conditioned HGV’s.
