A reach forklift is mostly used in warehouses to load and offload products at great heights. These forklift trucks work best indoors and have many benefits to them, such as the great heights they can reach and their manoeuvrability in small spaces.
At 2 Start, we offer a number of training courses for forklift trucks, including our reach forklift truck courses for novices, experienced operators and those who need refreshers. We also offer a course for reach forklift training that includes a conversion to counterbalance forklifts. Courses last between one and six days, depending on which course you choose and can be conducted at our facilities in Portsmouth, Southampton, Reading or Worthing, or at your workplace, as long as you have the appropriate facilities for training. Upon successful completion of the course, The Trained Operator Passport Scheme (TOPS) will be updated.
As long as the forklift truck would not be operated on a public highway, you won’t need to hold a driving licence in order to train and operate a forklift truck. Get in touch today to book your reach forklift training course or to find out more information about our courses.
