This is a 1-day conversion course, that is catered for those who already have certification in operating a forklift but want to convert this into a Pivot Steer one. An example would be someone converting from a Counterbalance to a Pivot Steer forklift. The length of this course may vary depending on your current skills/experience level and which forklift you are currently qualified in operating and the forklift you’re converting too.
Once training has been completed, you will be required to complete three basic elements of testing that you need to successfully pass; a theory test, a pre-use inspection test and the practical skills test. All of these tests need to be passed for you to gain your operators’ card and certificate.
Course length could be shortened if the course is not booked at full capacity.

Forklift Truck Training
Driving forklift trucks requires specialised training and instruction from fully qualified trainers. This can help reduce the likelihood of accidents and improve the safety of both drivers and pedestrians. Professional forklift driver training can also reduce truck downtime, racking and product damage. To drive any forklift truck correctly it requires training in a classroom and a hands-on environment, thus ensuring things run as smoothly as possible once the candidates have passed successfully.
What is a Bendi forklift?
The difference between a Bendi forklift and a regular forklift is its design, having a “bend” in the middle between the forks and the body of the vehicle. A Bendi forklift truck, which can also be called a pivot steer forklift, comes with a lot of advantages compared to other types of forklifts, such as: being easy to operate and manoeuvre, good in tight spaces (similar to the reach forklift) and generally being a more comfortable ride than a lot of other forklifts.
