PASMA Training Courses

Our PASMA Low-Level Access course is designed to help anyone without any formal qualifications or experience. This course will cover both theory & practical based topics and provide each student with both the knowledge and experience to be a competent user of Low-Level Access towers.
Our PASMA accredited towers for users course provides each student with the knowledge to safely and accurately assemble, dismantle, alter and relocate a mobile access tower. Each training course is delivered by one of our experienced instructors.
Our PASMA accredited combined towers for users and the low-level course provides great value for money and allows each student to train in the use of both Towers and Low-Level Access scaffolding all in a single combined course which typically is delivered in a single day.
Our PASMA Towers on Stairs course will give students the knowledge to safely assemble, dismantle, alter, and inspect without risk of personal injury to candidates or others. This course includes both theory and practical training elements, with a required pass mark of 80% and will take 1-day for students to complete.
Our PASMA accredited Work at Height Essentials is a theory, classroom-based course and typically takes around half a day to complete. This course will give you all the information on how to effectively comply with duties under the Work at Height Regulations. This course is theory-based with no practical element and includes a closed book assessment with a required 80% pass mark to be successful.
This course is ideal for those candidates who have a good working knowledge of the Work at Height Regulations and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. This course will teach students about current legislation, regulations and guidance affecting those who work at height using mobile access towers.
Our PASMA & IPAF Combined 2-Day training course is ideal for those candidates who don’t have any previous experience in operating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms or Mobile Access Towers. Those who decide to complete this course will have the ability to choose to match either our IPAF 1b (Static Boom), 3a (Scissor Lift) or 3b (Cherry Picker) courses with one of our PASMA courses. The PASMA courses we provide include Low-Level Access, Towers for Users or Work at Height Essentials.
Our Combined IPAF 3a & 3b with PASMA combined Towers & Low-Level Access course is ideal for those who don’t have any previous experience in operating IPAF 3a or 3b MEWPs or using Mobile Access Towers. This is a 2-day course that will give you all the skills and knowledge that you need to safely and efficiently operate 3a (Scissor Lift) and 3b (Cherry Picker) category MEWPs along with Towers & Low-Level Access Mobile Access Towers.

PASMA (Prefabricated Access Supplier’s & Manufacturer’s Association) is the international not-for-profit association for the mobile access tower industry. PASMA offers a range of courses run by accredited training centres and instructors. 2 Start training is an approved PASMA training provider. PASMA represent the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users, it provides and oversees the industry-standard training schemes.

What is PASMA training?

Our training courses revolve around the use of Mobile Access Towers which are commonly used on construction sites. If you take one of our PASMA training courses, you will be taught how to safely and securely operate Mobile Access Towers, as well as learning all the skills and knowledge that you need to pass your test which can help avoid potential injuries further down the line.

What does the training cover?

The contents of your training will completely depend on which one of our courses you decide to complete. We have a variety of courses that will teach you skills such as how to assemble, dismantle and relocate towers, as well as how to work compliantly under the Work at Height Regulations.

How long does training take to complete?

The length of your course will depend upon your requirements and which one of our courses you decide to complete.

How long is my training valid for?

All of our courses are valid for 5 years.
