There are times when you might need a specialist extra layer of certification on top of your HGV/LGV licence, for when you’re doing very specific types of work. While this does mean undertaking a bit of extra training to get qualified yourself, it can also mean higher earnings and more types of driving jobs to choose from.
The ADR course is what you’ll need if you need if you work transporting dangerous goods. The ADR course makes sure you know everything you need to know to be able to transport hazardous goods safely
ADR Training – Classes
The course’s we offer cover the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road in packages and in tanks for the following classes:
Class 1 Explosives
Class 2 Gases
Class 3 Flammable Liquids
Class 4.1 Flammable solids, self-reactive substances and solid desensitized explosives
Class 4.2 Substances liable to spontaneous combustion
Class 4.3 Substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases
Class 5.1 Oxidizing substances
Class 5.2 Organic peroxides
Class 6.1 Toxic substances
Class 6.2 Infectious substances
Class 7 Radioactive Materials
Class 8 Corrosive substances
Class 9 Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles
