We are extremely proud to announce that our 2 Start Southampton training depot has been approved by the DVSA as an official customer testing site!
This means that we are now able to conduct DVSA approved practical tests from this site each week, allowing our students to train on the facilities they will be using on their tests!
This is our second DVSA-approved customer site, with our first being Portsmouth, which was approved in 2017, and has since seen hundreds of students pass their tests and gain their licences, with certifications ranging from B+E all the way up to Category C+E Class 1.

2 Start Ltd also have 6 DVSA-approved 3a test sites, with each of our depots having their own dedicated on-site reversing facilities, providing our students with the highest standard of training available and all within one training company.
It is extremely uncommon for driver training schools to have their own reversing facilities or be a DVSA approved customer site. However, here at 2 Start, we believe in continuously investing in our facilities to ensure our students have the best training experience and the highest chances of passing their tests.
As mentioned, this test site will allow our students to complete both their 3a (off road) and 3b (on road) driving test from this centre too. This recent approval by the DVSA, along with a large percentage of our instructors being part of the NRI already or working towards being a part of the National Register of LGV Instructors, gives you the confidence that you have chosen the right company and that the training you receive will be taught to the highest standards.
2 Start Ltd offer a wide range of logistics driver training courses, covering all categories of HGV driving, including C1, C1+E, CAT C, and C+E. Additionally, we now have our Fast Track Car to C+E courses, allowing you to go straight from a car to a Class 1 HGV!
