ELCAS Funding

The MOD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. The ELC scheme provides financial support in the form of a single up-front payment in each of a maximum of three separate financial years. You are reminded that ELC funding is only available for pursuit of higher level learning i.e. for courses that result in a nationally recognised qualification at Level three or above on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) (England and Wales), a Level six or above on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) or, if pursued overseas, an approved international equivalent qualification.

What 2 Start can do for you!

2 Start will help you through every step of the way into employment into civi street. Each service leaver / claimant will have direct contact with Paul Moon who himself is ex forces and can give advice and recommendations on making the transition and will follow these simple steps: 

1. Discussed your chosen path within logistics E.G management or driving / operating.
2. Identify the best courses that suit your career path.
3. Issue provisional dates for your training.
4. 2 Start complete ELCAS application for and email it across for applicant to complete individual details and submit.
5. Application form approved and a copy sent to 2 Start Ltd.
6. 2 Start confirm dates and issue joining instructions.
7. Attend training courses.
8. Issue certificates / send test papers way.
9. Check the 2 Start job board for vacancies.
10. Organise work placements with clients if interested.
